Bharat Ratna Shri M Vishveshwarayya showed that water collected by constructing a dam across a hooting river serves useful purposes instead of getting wasted. Similarly the Founder of Daivajna Brahman Math Shri M. Mohan Shet showed that a dam constructed across the water of good thoughts could also be very useful.
A Daivajna Ratna was born to Shri Dattatraya Shet and Smt. Yamunabai, a model couple, at Mangalore in South Kanara district of Karnataka State. The child showed all the characteristics that he would shine brilliantly at All India level in the future during his childhood, teenage and adulthood. Completing his primary education at Mangalore, he came to Bangalore in 1963 and grew as an industrialist. In 1977 he founded the ‘Goldsmiths Youth Association’ and stepped into Social Service. He is in social service till today. It is a fact that we should all be proud of.
