‘Daivajna Brahman Math’

is the sacred Holy institution of Daivajna Brahman Community. It was established in1985. Itis called as “Shri Jnaneshwari Peeth”. It is located at Karki village of Honnavar Taluka in Uttar Kannada District-in the Karnataka state
.
The Aradhya Devata (main Deity) of the Samsthana is “Shri Jnaneshwari Devi”- (a form of Tripura Sundari – Parvati) and is also worshipped in the form of “Shree Yantra”. Other deities are Shri Ganapati and Shri Subramanya.

It is a sight to see the Holy Goddess Shri Jnaneshwari Devi, reigning deity, sitting smilingly in padmasana posture at the centre of Shri Math and radiating her Devine light towards the devotees and fulfilling the aspirations of those who keep faith in her. For the devotees it is not a simple statue of stone but an alert seat of energy. Shri Devi blesses not only Daivajna Brahmins but all those who approach her. The people belonging to other faith also visit Shri Devi and seek blessings. The devotees visit this place repeatedly to seek blessings and get peace of mind.

The Pontiff (Chief) of Shri Jnaneshwari Peeth is “Shri Shri Sacchidanand Jnaneshwara Bharati Maha Swamiji”. Our Holy Swamiji is the incarnation of asterism and Devine values. He is, as if, the entire strength of Devine light has descended to the earth in the form of human being. The Swamiji welcomes and blesses the members of the Samaj during Darshan in the Math. He is a guiding force for the Samaj in all its activities in all walks of life.

Always calm in nature, the Swamiji always sheds smile which enchants the devotees. He is the very incarnation of the satwick force of the entire Sanatan Dharma. There is free entry to the people of all community irrespective of their faith. The Swamiji blesses them all wholeheartedly. Shri Matham of Karki has become a seat of religious activities attracting the people in various walks of life.

With the taking over of the responsibility of the newly emerging Math, the Swamiji has been responsible for the overall progress of the community as a whole and for the unity amidst the members of the community. He has created a new wave of awareness in the community. Thousands of devotees come to Swamiji for Darshan wherever He visits. It speaks volumes about the popularity that Swamiji has gained amongst the people of the country.

‘Shri Jnaneshwari Sanskrit Veda Pathashala’ established in 1987 provides Vedic education to the aspirants.
Shri Jnaneshwari Kinder Garten School’ is established during this year ( June 2009) to impart Education to the poor and needy children in and around Karki.

Free ‘Annasantarpana’ arrangements are provided to the visitors after the Mahamangalaarati of Shri Devi everyday.
