about SHRI SHRI SACCHIDANAND JNANESHWARA BHARATI MAHASWAMIJI

SHRI SHRI SACCHIDANAND JNANESHWARA BHARATI MAHASWAMIJI

....
....
The Holy Swamiji is the son of Vedamoorty Ramachandra M. Bhat and Smt. Tarabai of Karki. He was born in 1977. He is as if the year long strong desire of the highest order crystallizing into the human form who has descended to the earth to lead the Samaj in the path of progress. The Swamiji happens to be the third son of the couple in his Poorvashrama. The elders of the community found in the child a Devine power and were confident that he would grace the Peetham of the proposed Math.
Shri Ramachandra Bhat himself is well versed in Vedic profession. He had examined the horoscope of the child and new that the child had the ‘Devine spark of light’ in him. Shri Ramachandra Bhat is a man of good values leading an austere life. The child was named as Ramesh.

Though Ramesh was growing in an atmosphere of simple living, he was always involved in Pooja, Sandhyavandana. He was always devoted to God. During leisure time of his primary education he took part in worship and religious activities of his father. Always chanting Gayatri mantra, thinking about devine subjects he used to discuss the matters unknown to him with his father. Perhaps he was preparing for the great responsibility that he had to shoulder in future. He never showed interest in fun frolic like other common children. The people of the village were highly appreciative of the child and had predicted that the boy would grow into a person meant for a great task.
The parents of the elected Head of the proposed Shri Math had found in their son a great personality in the thought and deed who had the attraction towards the great experience of the old age culture of the community and were confident that He would shoulder the responsibility effectively. They wholeheartedly blessed their child to take up the new responsibility.
In Udupi on 27th June 1985 Chi Ramesh, the future Head of the proposed Shri Math was bestowed withBramhopadesham’ at the Holy hands of the Chief of Pejawar Math Shri Shri Vishweshwar Teerth Swamiji blessed Chi Ramesh with mantropadesham. Shri Pejawar Swamiji blessed with Shri Krishnopadesham.
Further in April 1986 ‘Sanyas Deeksha’ was given to Chi Ramesh by the Chief of Viroopaksha Vidyaranya Peetham, Hampi with all rituals. The new Head of the Shri Math was named as “Shri Shri Sacchidanand Jnaneshwar Swamiji”. It was as if the entire good deed (punya) of the Daivajna Brahman Community as a whole fructified into a reality. The new Swamiji appeared to be the emergent force of the Sanatan (ancient) culture flowing from time immemorial. The ever smiling Swamiji adored the whole scene. It was the culmination of the effect of the tapas conducted by the ancient Aryan sages. The new Swamiji blessed the entire Daivajna Brahman Community for progress, prosperity and happiness. The new Swamiji set out to take up the responsibility without any inhibitions with confidence and enlightenment. He greeted Shri Jnaneshwari Devi and the parents of His old ashram and all elders who were present on the occasion.
With the confirmation as the First Chief of the new Math, there was Devine appearance on the face of Shri Swamiji. The devotees were attracted by the radiating influence of the sanatan culture. Although Shri Swamiji had a vast knowledge by birth only, He joined prestigious Sanskrit Vidyapeeth ‘Shri Madjagadguru Shri Shankaracharya Sanskrit School’ located in Dharwar as a student to study Vedas, Upanishad and other Grantham of our Sanatan culture. The chief of the school was very much impressed by the thirst for knowledge, the interest in favour of sanatan culture, extensive thoughtfulness in the young Sage. His way of logical thought, interest in Devine matters and extent of perception were deeply appreciated by all the teachers of the school. In 1994, on the occasion of All India Daivajna Brahmins Meet held at Karki, Principal Brahmashree Balachandra Tapasweeji Maharaj of the school spoke:
“We have provided education to a number of the Heads of different Maths, but we have never seen as brilliant Swamiji as Shri Shri Sacchidanand Jnaneshwar Swamiji –the Peethadhipati of Daivajna Brahman Samaj - in our life”.
His speech was welcomed with thunderous applause. This verbal message of the Guru, who imparted education, reflected the great personality of Shri Swamiji.
After the completion of His studies Shri Swamiji came back to Karki and adored the Peetham taking the entire responsibility on His shoulders.
With the taking over of the responsibility of the newly emerging Math the Swamiji has been responsible for the overall progress of the community as a whole and for the unity amidst the members of the community. The Swamiji has visited many holy places all over India and has increased His inner strength. He has visited the neighbouring states like Goa, Maharastra and Kerala and has addressed the members of the community. He has created a new wave of awareness in the community. Thousands of devotees come to Swamiji for Darshan wherever He visits. It speaks volumes about the popularity that Swamiji has gained amongst the people of the country.
The Pattabhishek (enthronement) Celebration of Swamiji which took place on 18th of May 1998 was a memorable day. On this occasion the Chief of Shringeri Math Shri Shri Jagadguru Shri Bharati Teerth Swamiji blessed our Swamiji and renamed as “Shri Shri Sacchidanand Jnaneshwar Bharati Mahaswamiji”.
Ever calm in nature, the Swamiji always sheds smile which enchants the devotees. He is the very incarnation of the Satwick force of the entire Sanatan Dharma.
Perhaps it was because of the emergence of such a Devine personality that the community had to wait for such a long time! There is absolutely no doubt that under the able guidance of Shri Swamiji the community as a whole will achieve continuous progress in the years to come.
Though the Shri Matham of Karki happens to belong to Daivajna Brahmins, the people of other community are also being attracted by the great personality of Shri Swamiji. The people from various parts of the country meet Swamiji and seek His blessings. There is free entry to the people of all community irrespective of their faith. The Swamiji blesses them all wholeheartedly. Shri Matham of Karki has become a seat of religious activities attracting the people in various walks of life.
